Addison Trail alumnus competing for title of Best Buddies Champion of the Year

During his time at Addison Trail, alumnus Anthony (Savalier) Reboletti (who graduated from the school in 2005) participated in Best Buddies – a club that changed his life.

In August 2002, Reboletti was involved in a car accident that caused traumatic brain injury. He struggled to learn how to walk and speak again, and Best Buddies provided him with an opportunity to have fun and meet new people. One of the friends he made is Robert Morawa (who graduated from Addison Trail in 2006), and the two still visit each other frequently and talk on the phone nearly every day.

To continue to give back to Best Buddies, Reboletti is participating in the organization’s Champion of the Year event. That program is an annual eight-week fundraising competition organized by Best Buddies’ Junior Advisory Board, featuring a select group of young professionals prominent in Chicago. These philanthropic trailblazers compete to raise the most funds for Best Buddies and earn the ultimate title of Champion of the Year. Best Buddies will recognize the candidate who has raised the largest amount in donations during its annual Party with a Purpose, which this year will take place on Nov. 4 at River Roast, 315 N. LaSalle Blvd. in Chicago.
