Willowbrook celebrates Student Art Show and release party for literary magazine, ‘Mindprints’

From May 10 to 12, the artistic talents of Willowbrook students were on display during the school’s annual Student Art Show.

About 500 pieces created by Willowbrook students were showcased, as well as nearly 40 pieces created by elementary and middle school students from District 45 in Villa Park, Salt Creek School District 48 in Villa Park and the parochial schools that feed into Willowbrook.

During the reception on May 10, Art Honor Society inductees were announced. To be inducted, students must maintain an art class GPA of 3.5 or higher. Inductees also must be enrolled in an art class during the 2015-16 school year and demonstrate the Warrior Code.
