Important information regarding weather-related school closings in District 88

The safety and well-being of our students is our No. 1 priority. As part of that commitment, we will continue to make decisions regarding weather-related school closings in the best interest of our students.

To ensure we have the most accurate information to make the best decision for students, we will announce school closings due to inclement weather by 6 a.m. the day of a closure. If severe weather is forecasted, we encourage parents/guardians to arrange for child care the night before to be prepared for a possible school closure.
