Addison Trail hosts College Fair and Career Fair

On Sept. 15, Addison Trail hosted a College Fair that featured more than 80 colleges and universities. Students were able to visit booths with information during their lunch periods to learn more about the postsecondary options available to them. And on Sept. 16, Addison Trail hosted a Career Fair that featured more than 50 career options. Students were able to visit booths with information during their lunch periods to learn more about those careers. “We host these events because we want our students to begin with the end in mind,” said Addison Trail Principal Michael Bolden. “We know exposing students to the various postsecondary options available to them will help them plan their futures and be successful in whichever path they choose.”

The mission of District 88 is to work for the continuous improvement of student achievement, and Addison Trail and Willowbrook host college and career fairs to help accomplish that mission. The district is focused on building futures for students through providing opportunities and events such as these fairs.
