Willowbrook to host program for incoming freshmen

Members of the class of 2019, it’s time to register for Willowbrook’s “Progress: Basic Training,” an orientation program for incoming freshmen.

The program will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. from Aug. 3 to 7 at Willowbrook. There also will be a parent meeting starting at 7 p.m. on Aug. 4. During the “Progress” sessions, students will become acquainted with the school’s surroundings, expectations and diversity. The program will be run by a team of Willowbrook teachers from various backgrounds and disciplines, who will assist students in making a smooth transition from junior high / middle school to high school.

The cost to participate in the program is $60, and registration is limited to the first 150 students. To sign up for “Progress,” go to https://dupage88.net/site/public/files/?item=2079.
