Creating a foundation for the students of District 88
The District 88 Foundation, a member of the Partnership for Inspired Education (PIE) Foundation, supports District 88 students – and now it’s your turn to help support the foundation.
The foundation hosts and participates in several events throughout the year to raise money to benefit Addison Trail and Willowbrook students. Money raised has been used to provide financial assistance to students for textbooks, summer camps and Advanced Placement (AP)/college-level exams; to support students traveling to visit colleges; to provide mini-grants for staff to develop instructional opportunities to benefit students; to enhance technology and Internet access for students and more.
You can help ensure the foundation is able to continue to provide funding for the above initiatives through attending the following upcoming events.
Dennis Doyle 3-on-3 Classic District 88 Foundation Basketball Tournament
What: A 3-on-3 basketball tournament to honor the memory of Dennis Doyle, who was Willowbrook’s Head Basketball Coach from 1994 to 2006, as well as a Guidance Counselor until his death in 2011
When: March 7
Where: Willowbrook, 1250 S. Ardmore Ave. in Villa Park (transportation will be provided from Addison Trail)

PIE Foundation fundraiser: “West Side Story”

What: A performance of “West Side Story,” dinner and a silent auction (proceeds benefit students in school districts 4, 45, 48 and 88)
When: March 15
Where: Drury Lane, 100 Drury Lane in Oakbrook Terrace
