Addison Trail hosts Homecoming 2014

From Sept. 22 to 27, Addison Trail celebrated Homecoming Week with several events and activities.

This year’s theme was Disney. Throughout the week, students showed their Blazer Pride and school spirit.

Highlights of Homecoming Week included:

• Sept. 22: Homecoming Variety Show (a student talent show that featured 14 acts)
• Sept. 24: Homecoming powder-puff football game (the seniors won 21-14 against the juniors)
• Sept. 24: Homecoming bonfire (included disc jockey services provided by Addison Trail students)
• Sept. 26: Homecoming pep assembly and football game, which included fireworks (the Addison Trail Blazers won 20-16 against Hinsdale South and are now 5-0 in Conference)
• Sept. 27: Homecoming dance “Where All Your Dreams Come True” (1,215 students attended the dance – a new school record, which included entertainment and disc jockey services provided by BOOM Entertainment)
