District 88 Curriculum and Instruction - Assessment

District 88 students are regularly assessed on their progress in meeting the Illinois State Learning Standards. These skills-based assessments are reviewed by staff to determine areas of need and inform instructional delivery.

The following standardized assessments are taken by students at Addison Trail and Willowbrook high schools:

Other standardized assessments like the PSAT and SAT exams might be administered to prepare and/or provide students with the opportunity to take a college entrance exam and/or compete for college scholarships. PSAT/SAT prep courses are offered within the district to support students prior to these very important exams.
