District 88 hosts luncheon for local real estate agents

On Feb. 5, real estate agents and Village of Addison officials came to Addison Trail for a luncheon and a tour of the school.

During the event, District 88 Superintendent Dr. Scott Helton, Addison Trail Principal Adam Cibulka, members of the District 88 Board of Education and Addison Mayor Rich Veenstra shared successes of the village, district and school. Real estate agents also were able to hear from students (junior Ariel Murphy, senior Genesis Garcia and senior Bret Novak) and a staff member (teacher Enza Spilotro) what they enjoy about Addison Trail, and each participant was given a video about the district to share with potential homeowners in the area.

Addison Trail junior Ela Lodzinski, senior Emily Rosenquist, junior Allison Ricamato and junior Megan Levonyak provided musical entertainment during the event.

Willowbrook hosted a similar event on Jan. 30.

“We’re excited to invite local real estate agents into our schools to show them firsthand the true spirit of District 88,” Helton said. “We know real estate agents are the ones promoting our communities, and we want to share with them the successes of District 88. District 88 flourishes because of the support we receive from our communities, and we’re thrilled to initiate this program to continue building relationships.”
