Willowbrook wins the 2013 District 88 Powder-Puff Football Game

On Oct. 15, Addison Trail and Willowbrook junior and senior girls faced off on the gridiron for a cause during the District 88 Powder-Puff Football Game.

The event raised about $150, and proceeds benefit the District 88 Foundation. The District 88 Foundation is a member of the Partnership for Inspired Education (PIE) Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that serves public school students in District 88, Addison School District 4, School District 45 and Salt Creek School District 48. Founded in 2009, PIE is designed to be the foundation that supports a long-term partnership with the community, businesses, schools and, most importantly, the children served. The powder-puff football game took place at Addison Trail, and Willowbrook won 14-0.

What: Super Raffle tickets cost $10 each, and first prize is $500, second prize is $250 and third prize is $100. There also will be three $50 prizes.

When: Tickets are on sale now! Winners will be announced during the Addison Trail vs. Willowbrook football game on Oct. 25 at Willowbrook. You do not need to be present to win.
