On March 11, seven Willowbrook and District 88 administrators and staff members joined Willowbrook School Resource Officer Donald “DJ” Giammarino, a Detective with the Villa Park Police Department, and other members of the police department in the 2023 Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Illinois.
The event took place at Oak Brook Bath & Tennis Club in Oak Brook and raised funds and awareness to support Special Olympics athletes. To watch the group “take the plunge,” click on the video above.
