Willowbrook hosts send-off celebration for three students who are competing in Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference

On May 4, Willowbrook hosted a send-off celebration for three students who are competing in the Business Professionals of America (BPA) National Leadership Conference.

Those students are:

• Senior Maxwell Hirsch (pictured at left): Banking & Finance (placed 5th at the State Leadership Conference); Personal Financial Management (placed 1st at the State Leadership Conference)
  
  
• Senior Luis Ramirez (pictured at right): Computer Modeling (placed 3rd at the State Leadership Conference)
  
  
• Seniors Charles May (pictured, center) and Luis Ramirez: Computer Animation Team (placed 2nd at the State Leadership Conference)

This year’s National Leadership Conference takes place from May 4 to 8 in Texas, and the theme is “Go Beyond Your Limits.”

According to https://bpa.org, “Business Professionals of America is the nation’s leading CTSO (Career and Technical Student Organization) for students pursuing careers in business management, information technology, finance, accounting, office administration and other business-related career fields. With 45,000 members in more than 1,800 chapters across 25 states and Puerto Rico, as well as international presence in China, Haiti and Peru, BPA is an organization that supports business and information technology educators by offering co-curricular exercises based on national standards.”
