District 88 participates in Addison-Medinah Shriners Parade

On Aug. 29, District 88 participated in the Addison-Medinah Shriners Parade.

This was the third village-wide parade since 2008, and the Grand Marshal was former Village of Addison Trustee Harry Theodore and his wife, Lori. The event featured 57 community units, plus about 45 units provided by the Shriners. Despite the wind and rain, it was a great community outing!

District 88 was well-represented, as members of the Addison Trail Marching Band, Color Guard, Orchesis Team, Cheerleaders, Blazettes, Boys Soccer Team, Football Team and Student Council, as well as Willowbrook’s Marching Band, participated and performed during the event.

District 88 Board of Education President Donna Craft Cain, Board Vice President Dan Olson and Board member Diana Stout rode in the parade, along with District 88 Superintendent Dr. Jean Barbanente and new Addison Trail Principal Jack Andrews.
