You’re invited to attend a Community Resource Fair and Biliteracy Workshop
Addison School District 4, District 45, Salt Creek School District 48 and District 88 invite families to attend a Community Resource Fair and Biliteracy Workshop! See all the details below!
WHEN: 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021
WHERE: Willowbrook High School, 1250 S. Ardmore Ave. in Villa Park
- Please park in the main parking lot.
- Please enter through door No. 6.
RESOURCE FAIR: Families are welcome to enjoy a Resource Fair that will share information about services/programs in the areas of education, health/well-being, early childhood, financial support and more. See a list of resources at https://sites.google.com/dupage88.net/resourcefair2021.
BILITERACY WORKSHOP: Families also will have the opportunity to participate in workshop sessions that will discuss a variety of aspects regarding biliteracy, including:
- Resources to help parents/guardians and students on their journey to biliteracy.
- The benefits and importance of biliteracy and how it can help students succeed.
- An opportunity to meet Erica Craig, the new Director of Biliteracy for school districts 4, 45, 48 and 88, who will discuss the districts’ biliteracy goals.

- Free refreshments (Free doughnuts, pizza, paletas, water and soda will be available.)

- Please be at the bus stops above by 10 a.m.
- Buses will leave Willowbrook at 12:45 and 3 p.m.

COVID-19 VACCINE CLINIC:
- A mobile COVID-19 vaccine clinic will be available for individuals ages 12 and older.
- When: 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Where: Willowbrook High School, 1250 S. Ardmore Ave. in Villa Park (outside in the bus drive)
- What to bring: Please bring your ID (driver's license) and a copy of your health insurance.

JB Pritzker implemented a state mandate that all P-12 schools and day cares in Illinois must follow the CDC guidance of universal masking inside, regardless of vaccine status.
