High school students invited to make positive community change through joining PhilanthroParty and Reality Illinois

Attention, Addison Trail and Willowbrook students! You’re invited to attend the annual PhilanthroParty, sponsored by the DuPage County Health Department’s Prevention Leadership Team.

This year’s event will take place at 1:30 p.m. on June 15, and participants will learn about making positive changes in their community. For more information, and to register, go to https://www.dupage88.net/site/public/files/?item=5856.

The party begins the in-person summer meetings of Reality Illinois, which is the Teen Advisory Board to the DuPage County Health Department. See the summer schedule at https://www.dupage88.net/site/public/files/?item=5857.

Reality Illinois is open to all high school students who are committed to positive community change. Members advocate, participate in service projects and assist with the health department’s youth media campaigns. The group meets weekly during the summer and monthly during the school year.
