Illinois Rental Payment Program

The Illinois Rental Payment Program (ILRPP) can provide up to $25,000 in emergency rental assistance. The goal of ILRPP is to preserve housing stability during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

Eligibility requirements include:

  1. Household must have experienced a financial hardship directly – or indirectly – due to the pandemic

  2. Household is behind on rent and/or is at risk of experiencing homelessness or housing instability

  3. 2020 household income was below 80 percent of the Area Median Income, adjusted for household size (see the chart at https://www.dupage88.net/site/public/files/?item=5855)
