Willowbrook Black Organization for Student Success (BOSS) hosts memorial in honor of alumna Sandra Bland

On April 24, the Willowbrook Black Organization for Student Success (BOSS) hosted a memorial in honor of Sandra Bland (Willowbrook alumna, class of 2005, pictured above), who passed away on July 13, 2015.

The event was hosted in partnership with Bland’s family and included dedicating a tree and a plaque for Bland and sharing memories of her life.
