District 88 students to attend in-person learning four days a week starting on April 5

District 88 would like to remind families of the following information, which was previously shared on March 12, 19, 22, 23 and 26:

  • All students who have selected the hybrid learning model will attend school in person four days a week starting on April 5. All students are eligible to attend in person and are able to select this option at any time. We have been in Stage 3 (Blended/Hybrid) of our Return to School Plan since March 22. See more information at https://www.dupage88.net/site/page/12698.

  • We are planning in-person graduation ceremonies and events to recognize and honor the class of 2021. See more information at https://www.dupage88.net/site/page/12698.

  • We have continued to implement in-person athletic and extracurricular activities for students, following health and safety guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, the Illinois and DuPage County health departments, the Illinois State Board of Education and the DuPage Regional Office of Education.

  • Our intention is to be fully in person in a traditional schedule in the fall. Remote learning options in the fall will depend on student access to the vaccines and directives from the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Illinois State Board of Education.
