Addison Trail Parent Organizations

Addison Trail High School offers a variety of ways for parents to become involved through Parent Organizations!

District 88 Foundation

The District 88 Foundation is a member of the Partnership for Inspired Education (PIE) Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that serves public school students in District 88, Addison School District 4, School District 45 and Salt Creek School District 48. Founded in 2009, PIE is designed to be the foundation that supports a long-term partnership with the community, businesses, schools and, most importantly, the children served. Funds raised by the foundations have been used to support District 88 students and staff members.

CAC - Citizens Advisory Council
Meeting Schedule: 7:00 PM on the second Wednesday of the month (no December meeting)

CAC is an organization made up of parents, citizens of the Addison community, board members and the principal. They meet every second Wednesday of the month to discuss current issues prevalent in the high school and are the liaisons between the community and the school board to voice community concerns. If you would like more information about how to become a member of CAC, please contact Lori Irvin in the Principal’s office at 630-628-3302.

TPO - Teacher/Parent Organization
Meeting Schedule: 7:00 PM on the third Wednesday of the month in the Blazer Room

TPO is a group composed of teachers and parents, and they help build a connection between home and school. TPO is responsible for the Spaghetti Dinner in February and for giving scholarships to our students. Your help is needed, so join us for a meeting!

Athletic Boosters
Meeting Schedule: 6:00 PM on the third Wednesday of the month (no December meeting)

The Athletic Booster Club cheers for all Blazers – in all sports, at all levels, male or female – who wear the Navy Blue and White of Addison Trail. The Athletic Booster Club runs the concession stands year round and is always in need of an extra set of hands to help. Check out the club’s online signup at www.mysignup.com (look for ATHSAthleticboosters@gmail.com), and sign up! For each hour of volunteering, you will earn money to be used by your student’s coach/advisor for uniforms, individual team spirit wear, etc. Any sport or activity is eligible for credit. The club also sells Blazer wear to promote Blazer Pride among students, parents and staff. The club supports service projects throughout the community by Addison Trail athletes as well. In the spring, the club offers scholarships to senior varsity athletes who meet the criteria. Join the Athletic Booster Club for a meeting if you would like more information about any Blazer sport or how to qualify your student for the Booster scholarship in the spring. Music Boosters

The Music Booster Club is composed of parents of students who are involved in the Addison Trail Music program. Addison Trail offers Band, Orchestra, Choir, Piano and Guitar classes, as well as several performance ensembles. Music Booster parents help organize music trips and assist the music program. Please attend a meeting if you would like more information or would like to join!

Theatre Boosters
Meeting Schedule: 7:00 PM on the third Monday of the month

The Theatre Booster Club is composed of parents of students involved in the Theatre program at Addison Trail. The Booster Club assists Theatre students during productions and helps organize meals during production week. Theatre Booster Club parents also help organize the end-of-year banquet and give awards to thespians. Please attend a meeting if you would like more information or would like to join! AT Special Education Parent Advisory
Parents of special education students are invited to participate in a series of parent education sessions focused on assisting students to develop needed skills including academics, self-advocacy, vocational, and life skills to allow for a successful transition from school to adult life. Parents have the opportunity to give feedback and discuss current issues related to the special education programming at AT. AT Padres Latinos en Acción
Through this group, Spanish-speaking parents are afforded the opportunity to increase their knowledge of the school system to help their students achieve at the highest level. Meeting topics are driven by parent interest and include information on accessing college, financial aid, rigorous academic programming at Addison Trail, social-emotional concerns and community issues.
