Eye on Education: Help the District 88 Foundation continue to support students by making a donation this holiday season

The Eye on Education section of the newsletter highlights an education-oriented article or topic. The goal is to provide an outside perspective and more information to continue to educate parents/guardians, students, staff members and community members to improve the educational learning environment of District 88.

This week’s topic is the District 88 Foundation, which raises funds to support Addison Trail and Willowbrook students through providing computers and Internet access, subsidizing Advanced Placement (AP)/college-level tests, offering mini-grants for staff to develop instructional opportunities and more.

The District 88 Foundation is a member of the Partnership for Inspired Education (PIE) Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that serves public school students in District 88, Addison School District 4, School District 45 and Salt Creek School District 48. Founded in 2009, PIE is designed to be the foundation that supports a long-term partnership with the community, businesses, schools and, most importantly, the children served.

During this season of giving, you can make a positive difference in the lives of Addison Trail and Willowbrook students by donating to the District 88 Foundation.
