District 88 recognizes 1Million Project Foundation as a Business Partner

District 88 regularly recognizes businesses and organizations that partner with the district for their support in building futures for students and helping to accomplish the district’s mission and vision. Those groups are honored as Business Partners during a District 88 Board of Education meeting.

On Sept. 9, the District 88 Board of Education recognized the 1Million Project Foundation as a Business Partner. The district is entering into the third year of a partnership with the foundation, which has provided the opportunity to distribute more than 800 Sprint Mobile Hotspots to District 88 students and families for Internet access.

Andrea Chambers, Regional Program Manager III Lead, attended the meeting to represent the 1Million Project Foundation. District 88 Superintendent Dr. Scott Helton and District 88 Board of Education President Donna Craft Cain thanked Chambers and presented her with a certificate in appreciation of her collaboration.
