This past July, Addison Trail Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher Keith Santini was named as this year’s North American Council of Automotive Teachers (NACAT) MVP.

That award is given to “someone who has gone above and beyond in automotive education and furthering the goals of the North American Council of Automotive Teachers (NACAT).” The president of NACAT, along with the manager, select the MVP each year.

Santini received this honor in recognition of his work with starting a program through NACAT to reach out to schools struggling to find and retain qualified automotive instructors.
