DuPage County Workforce Development Division offers two programs to assist young adults with career readiness

Below is information about a free service offered by the DuPage County Workforce Development Division.

DuPage County’s Youth Program
This program is available to young adults ages 17 to 24, who are looking for help to pay for school and to figure out their next career move. Participants will receive:

  • Free career assessments
  • Possible scholarship assistance (up to $10,000)
  • One-to-one career planning
  • Résumé training
  • Paid job internships
  • Paid on-the-job training
  • Job readiness training
  • Job search assistance

Make Your Way (MYWay) Program - Upcoming session starting soon in Addison
This is a free program available to young adults ages 18 to 24. Participants will:

  • Receive four weeks of career and employer exploration (in industries such as manufacturing, office/administration and logistics)
  • Get a paid internship of up to eight weeks
  • Get help finding a job at a local employer in Addison
  • Receive financial assistance for school or technical training
