District 88 honors staff members during annual Staff Recognition Dinner

During the District 88 Staff Recognition Dinner on May 4, the district honored 19 retirees from Addison Trail, Willowbrook and the District Office and also recognized 57 staff members who have served District 88 for 10 years or more.

The 2017-18 retirees are:
Addison Trail: John Cord, Edward DuBeau Jr., Norman Grubisich, Laura Jurik, M. Soledad Levulis and Michael Ross

Willowbrook: Joan Andrews, Tom Cantlin, Robert Delaney, Patricia Engelmann, Marina Gozzetti, Roberta Keavy, Kathleen Kosior, Kathy LeMone, Peggy Wealton and Barbara Willson

District Office: Margaret Bell, Bob Flemming and Catherine Martino

District 88 Board of Education President Donna Craft Cain welcomed the crowd, and District 88 Superintendent Dr. Scott Helton gave the closing speech. The Master of Ceremonies for the evening was John Epple, Willowbrook Art Department Head.

The Outstanding Achievement Awards went to Brendan Lyons (Social Studies Department Head and Head Coach of the Boys Basketball Team) for Addison Trail and Tom Cantlin (retiring Assistant Principal) for Willowbrook.
