Willowbrook is proud to announce the 2017-18 National Honor Society (NHS) inductees.
More than 160 students were recognized during a ceremony on April 18. During the event, student officers highlighted successes of this year and the four tenets of NHS – leadership, service, character and scholarship. Seniors received a cord to wear during graduation, juniors received an NHS pin and sophomores received an NHS certificate. As each senior received a cord, he or she spoke about an influential teacher to whom he or she wrote a thank you note.
The event's keynote speaker was Willowbrook science teacher Megan Graham.
