On Oct. 3, 17 Willowbrook art students took a field trip with Willowbrook parent and professional artist Eddie Corkery.

The group went to Cricket Creek Forest Preserve in Addison, and Corkery presented about “en plein air,” which is the act of painting outdoors. He shared examples of his pieces, discussed the process of “en plein air” and helped students find a scene and compose a landscape.
