Willowbrook hosts Homecoming 2015

From Sept. 21 to 26, Willowbrook celebrated Homecoming Week with several events and activities.

This year’s theme was “Under the Sea.” Throughout the week, students and staff showed their Warrior Pride and school spirit.

Highlights of Homecoming Week included:

• Sept. 23: Homecoming Bonfire and Powder-Puff Game (the juniors won against the seniors)
• Sept. 24: Class of 2015 Distinguished Alumni/Distinguished Service induction (see details, including a list of the inductees, at http://dupage88.net/site/page/4311)
• Sept. 25: Homecoming Pep Assembly and Football Game against York (York won)
• Sept. 26: Homecoming Dance “Under the Sea” (about 1,000 students attended the dance, which included refreshments provided by The Brook Catering Co., which is comprised of Willowbrook students who are enrolled in the school’s culinary classes)
