5K event to take place in memory of Willowbrook student

You’re invited to attend a fundraiser in memory of Willowbrook student Emilio Perez, whose life was lost much too soon on March 8, 2014.

The event, called “Whistle While You Walk/Run 5K For Emilio,” will begin at 8 a.m. on April 26 at Willowbrook. The entry fee is $25 for adults, and kids 12 years old and younger are free. Proceeds will go to the Emilio Perez Scholarship Fund, which benefits Willowbrook seniors.
