Village of Villa Park plans centennial events in honor of 100th anniversary
The Village of Villa Park is celebrating its 100th anniversary this summer on Aug. 8, 9 and 10 – and you’re invited to join in the fun!
Below is the schedule of upcoming events.
Pancake breakfast
When: 8:30 to 11 a.m. July 26

There also are ongoing events, including a “selfie” event; a Lions Club beard/mustache contest; a classic car show; a Friends of the Villa Park Library centennial cookbook; a Villa Park VFW Post 2801 fish fry; Kiwanis Club concerts; and events featuring Villa Park’s mascot, Ardmore V. Parker.
Along with those events, you also can support the celebration by buying a streetlight banner or adopting a tree. If you would like your name to be included in the time capsule, you must adopt a tree by July 31.
