Willowbrook junior to compete at DECA International Career Development Conference

Willowbrook junior Tyler Rusnak has qualified for the DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in the Principles of Finance competitive event.

DECA is a competitive club that prepares future leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management, and the ICDC will take place May 3 through 6 at Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

At the conference, about 16,000 high school students, advisors, businesspersons and alumni gather for several days of DECA excitement. Most participants at the ICDC compete in one of DECA’s competitive events. The top competitors in each event are recognized for their outstanding achievements. Along with the competitive events, many students and advisors participate in a variety of leadership and career-advancing academies.
