District 88 hosts Prospective Board Candidate Workshop

On Oct. 18, District 88 hosted a Prospective Board Candidate Workshop for those who are interested in running for the District 88 Board of Education during the Consolidated Election on April 4, 2023. Four seats will be open on the District 88 Board during the election.

During the event, attorney John M. Izzo and District 88 Superintendent Dr. Jean Barbanente discussed the following topics.

1. Time requirements of being a Board member
   
   
2. Expectations of being a Board member
   
   
3. How to complete the filing/petition process
   
   
4. Participants also had an opportunity to ask questions about being a Board member and the election process
