Addison Trail and Willowbrook students are invited to participate in the 2020 Congressional App Challenge!

What is the Congressional App Challenge?
The event’s mission is to “inspire, include and innovate efforts around STEM, coding and computer science education.” Middle and high school students are encouraged to create and submit original apps for a chance to win the challenge.

What are the rules to participate?

How do I apply?
To register for the Congressional App Challenge, go to https://www.congressionalappchallenge.us/students/student-registration.

What are the deadlines?

  • Sept. 10: Deadline for students to register to receive early incentives

  • Oct. 19: Deadline for students to register and submit their app online

  • November: Judging period

  • December: Winners announced

What prizes do the winning apps receive?

  1. Winning apps are eligible to be displayed in the U.S. Capitol Building and featured on the House of Representatives’ website, www.house.gov.

  2. Winning students are invited to the #HouseofCode Capitol Hill Reception in Washington, D.C.

  3. Additional sponsor prizes TBA!
