Willowbrook is very proud to have 50 years of alumni. Because our alumni are so important, we have put together some resources for them so that they can stay connected to Willowbrook and the community, whether it is to find out reunion information or to hear the fight song just ONE MORE TIME! Distinguished Alumni / Service Recognition Program

The Distinguished Alumni/Service Recognition Program is an opportunity to celebrate those individuals that have made significant contributions to the Willowbrook community over the past 50 years. We are excited to have a new class of Distinguished Warriors join Robert Falls and Dr. Rick Akira Nishimura, who were recognized 10 years ago as Distinguished Alumni members. Selected members will be invited to participate in an Induction Ceremony on September 30, 2010, as part of our Homecoming 2010 festivities.

Please note that nominations should be received by April 29, 2011, to be considered for selection in 2011. Nominations received after that date, though, will be accepted and considered for future years as we look forward to continuing the program on an annual basis.

Inaugural Class Inducted to Athletic Hall of Fame

The impressive list of 15 inductees into the Willowbrook High School Inaugural Athletic Hall of Fame include a current and former NFL player, a current and former MLB player, Division I National Champions, Collegiate All-Americans and some of the most decorated student athletes to ever leave the Home of the Warriors.

On Thursday, Feb. 18, this all-star line up of alumni assembled for the Hall of Fame ceremony that celebrated both their athletic and personal accomplishments. The timing of this inaugural event coincides with Willowbrook High School’s 50th anniversary celebration this school year.

In addition, special introductions congratulating the 2010 Hall of Fame Class were made prior to the Willowbrook Boys Varsity Basketball game against Hinsdale South on Friday, Feb. 19 in the main gymnasium.A screening committee comprised of current and former coaches, staff members, Booster Club members and community representatives selected the following Willowbrook Warriors to represent the Athletic Hall of Fame Inaugural Class:
