Addison Trail High School offers a comprehensive curriculum with courses in art, business, driver education, English, family and consumer sciences, health, industry and technology, mathematics, music, physical education, science, social science and world language.
In addition, Advanced Placement (AP) courses, sanctioned by the College Board, are available in English, U.S. history, biology, chemistry, physics, calculus, Spanish, art, music, psychology, economics, and U.S. government and history.
Addison Trail has made Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) and met the standards for the No Child Left Behind legislation in three of the last four years and was recognized by the Chicago Sun Times for the successful implementation of student interventions and improved test scores. Addison Trail maintains a focus on personalizing the learning environment so that all students receive the individualized attention necessary to help them Achieve at The Highest Standards.
Support services are available at Addison Trail and include special education courses, ESL and bilingual programs, and alternative educational programming. Social, academic, and career counseling are also provided.
