Catalogs The Addison Trail http://1.1.4.41/wx/s.dll and Willowbrook http://1.1.2.41/wx/s.dll Library Media Centers are accessible from the school networks. The combined collections are called the Union Catalog and is at http://1.1.2.40/wx/s.dll If you wish to borrow items from the "other building", contact a staff member of the LMC. Both students and teachers can save time by using the online catalog for searching for resources. The steps are simple!1. Click on the URL or click on link from your school homepage.
2. Simply enter your topic in the Quick Search box and click on Find It or click on Find It! The following screen appears:
3. You have your choice of searching by: Keyword, Title, Author, Subject, Series, Call #, Power (Advanced Search), or asking for help. Type in your item and select one of the options. Examples of each choice can be found in the help screen. Keyword Tips:
Note that information is available for each choice. Check out the help screen for additional for more tips. Also know that the only items that are found are items that were catalogued to meet the specifications for the search. Cataloging is not a perfect science and there is always more information available by checking the stacks. Enjoy some human intervention in the search process!
