AVID http://www.dupage.k12.il.us/avid is the Regional Media Library for Students and Teachers of DuPage County. Teachers and students access the 10,000 current titles on video, laser disc, DVD, CD-ROM and Hardware. The services include use of:

1000 Current Professional Education Books,

Professional Journals and

ERIC Document Resource Service Journal Articles,

Satellite Teleconferences,

Keyword index of PBS video collection: http://videodb.pbs.org/setup.html

Associated Press Archive of Photos: http://ap.accuweather.com

Get your User Number and Password from the Building AVID Coordinator.

The URL is:

Just click on "ADMIT ONE" and you will be prompted for your User Number and Password.

Enter the User Number and Password and click on Submit. Click on START DMAX at the next screen. Then select your media type and begin your search. Items can be booked and confirmed on-line. Items are delivered Monday and sent back on Friday. Two week bookings are available.
