D.U.D Staff Development Cohort

The D.U.D (Differentiation and Understanding by Design) Cohort is a staff development initiative in District 88 that brings the ideas of Carol Ann Tomlinson in “Differentiated Instruction”, and Grant Wiggins in “Understanding by Design” together in a “study group” format.

These staff development sessions are conducted during lunch hours and are organized by the building Staff Development Coordinators, Amy Ferraro (AT) and Terri Miller (WB). Members of the District 88 Staff Development Committee act as facilitators for the sessions.
