- Prepare your audience for what is to come.
- Consider the audience's background.
- Introduce key points to be developed.
The Body
- Develop your main points.
- Support main points with facts, examples, quotes, etc.
- Use strong transitions between ideas
- Organize your paper in a way that best communicates
your ideas to your audience.
- Using examples
- Comparison and contrast
- Cause and effect
- Problems and solutions
The Conclusion
- Restate your thesis
- Do not add any new information
