Addison Trail implemented an adaptation of this model, S.T.U.D.Y. by

The PBL Clearinghouse is an
international collection of problems and articles, compiled at the
University of Delaware, which are used to assist faculty with problem-based
learning. Access to the Clearinghouse is limited to faculty who register via
the online application. Users may
also apply to become an author or reviewer. This secured system routes
submitted manuscripts through a multi-step approval process, similar to a
publishing house's editorial review process.
