ATHS started the 2007 - 2008 school year with the "One Book - One Staff" and selected A Hope in the Unseen.  Each staff member received a copy of the book and is passing it to a student on or before October 29th whom they will mentor.   Teachers are encouraged to personalize their copy of the book before giving it to the student they select.  The personalized notes reflect personal thoughts, reading strategies, and vocabulary that will be helpful to the student.  When Cedric Jennings visits Addison Trail HS on November 9, teachers and students who received their personalized books will be invited to a "Lunch & Learn" hosted by the LMC staff.  Students and staff will visit with Cedric over lunch.
